Breath & Rest - The Essential Toolkit

Monday morning. The rain falls in sheets cuting my cheeks as I hurriedly usher three children into the car. Quick quick seatbelts on. We are going to be late. It’s too wet to walk. The traffic is slow and heavy. Everyone sullen-faced in their cars. To-do lists are etched on their brows. I am mentally running through mine and I get a reminder on my phone about an appointment I had forgotten about and I add it to the list. One drop off. Second drop off. Back home in heavy traffic. Running behind. Teaching stuff. Training stuff. House stuff. Washing stuff. Dog stuff. Work stuff. Parenting stuff. Cooking stuff. Check off. Repeat. Another pickup. A second pick-up. Afterschool stuff. Homework stuff. Snacks. Cooking stuff. Stuff. Stuff. Stuff.

Life, as joyous as it can be, can also be a grind. The endless lists of stuff to be done can leave us depleted and fed up. Productivity and accomplishments are the measure of success. But what if success was felt and not measured? A felt sense of steadiness, calm and ease. Balanced energy. Well rested. Well resourced.

If you need practical tools to find space to breathe and time to actually relax and not just distract yourself with passive consumption join me for BREATH AND REST, a special 2-hour class on Saturday 6 April 4-6pm in Collective Cork to attune to the power of your breath and learn restorative yoga setups to replenish and rejuvenate.

This class is for everyone. Find out more here
